First and foremost: hello! We’re Bull City Boudoir, a homegrown boudoir photography service based in Durham, North Carolina. It’s great to meet you!

Like Durham, we do things a little differently: we prefer to think (and photograph) outside the studio. Our internationally-published, gallery- and museum-exhibited photographer has worked in the studio for decades, but, to be frank, there’s only so much you can do with an empty box. We prefer to work with you, in your home, in nature or another location of your choosing.

Our photos often look a little different than your typical boudoir studio’s work. While it’s fun to play dress-up and make-believe, most boudoir photos are made, frankly, for someone else. We want to make photos with you, for you. Sure, you can give them to a loved one, post them to Facebook, or even use them on your annual holiday cards… but, your photos and your experience should reflect you, your vision and your aspirations.
